Many rallies are ride in events and many are a ride event themselves. Local rallies sometimes are rides for charities and money is gathered for these causes and donated to the charity. As usual motorcyclists being the good people they are give generously and have quite a bit of fun in the process.
A lot of local events, bike nights for example, are just simple meeting places and certain nights of the week where a bunch of riders meet up at a local resturant or ice cream stand, park, meet, talk and view everyone motorcycles. Many come just to see the latest creation or custom modification that someone has worked hard on. You may see everything from one-off custom designed parts to customed chrome wheels, custom LED lighting, etc. You may also see many performance modifications like Nitrous Oxide or NOS, perfomance computers, exhausts and intakes.
Usually these events are for all type of riders regardless of the brand you ride. Everyone comes and enjoys themselves whether you ride a Harley-davidson, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawaski, Ducati, sport bike, crusier or something in between. Bikers are good people and it shows.
